Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress who is well-known for her performance in the films 'Beta' 'Saajan' and 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun . Her career began in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by her role as a supporting actor in the movie Tezaab. She next appeared in the film 'Dil' which she co-starred with Aamir Khan. She was born to an Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing from a young age. When she was a child she attempted acting but failed for a few years. Then she found success and was able to establish herself as one of the leading actors in the Indian film industry. Following her wedding she took a few months off from acting and then returned to the entertainment industry. Dixit was also an integral character in the movie "Gulaab Gang," which focused on the struggles of women from India. Dixit is nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. She also received the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Social work is also a something to be proud of.
