Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Bell was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen was already an accomplished entertainer in the early stages. She was just 12 when she appeared at her first audition, and was able to win a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent prior to her turning 13, and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. As well as taking private lessons, she began her acting career in the year 2000. Bell was in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in both the music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the leading Dorothy character. Bell studied in musical theater at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her debut on the credit screen as Becky in Pootie Tang. But the film cut her character out of the movie and her appearance was only on the screen credits. Bell appeared with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
